My friend and I are looking to go to Florida for spring break. We thought we might be able to get deals through all the typical sites like kayak priceline etc and also looked at student universe. Sadly none of them are fabulous deals and a lot are actually more expensive than buying directly from the airline. Any travelers have some advice? We're flying from MSP to Pensacola if that makes a difference. Thank you!|||Southwest airlines has great flights with great deals all day every Tuesday! Two free bags per person and only 10 dollar early bird check in :) hope I could help|||If you really want cheap, then don't look up direct flights. Sometimes the cheapest way to go is through three connections. Mind you, that is expensive in terms of your time. If you don't 'mind it, though, then make sure to look for connections. Outside websites like orbitz can hold some pretty good deals if you're paying attention.|||Try www.airfarewatchdog.com. This will give you cheap fares as they become available. You are booking a long way out, it might be better to wait a couple of months. Earlier is not always better. Be flexible in where you fly into. Sometimes there can be an airport that is not too far away where the fares might be better. By the way, Southwest fares are not all that cheap any more. Good luck!|||www.tripadvisor.com
