I am camping my way through Badlands, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and Zion national parks. I plan on buying an annual pass for $80.00, but as far as I understand it that only covers admission to the parks. What does camping typically cost per night? Thanks!|||It varies by park and by the type of campsite and facilities you use.

A bare, primitive tent site at Badlands' Sage Creek Campground is free. An RV hookup at Cedar Pass Campground provides electricity (and maybe water) runs $28 per night. Using the dump station is $1 per use.

Bryce is $15 for up to three tents and two vehicles per site. The annual pass may discount the rate 50%.

Yellowstone ranges from $12 to $37 depending on which of the 12 campgrounds selected and the amenities of the campsite.

Grand Canyon's south rim has designated campsites at $10 to $12, and camping "at large" in certain areas for free. North Rim campsites are $17 to $25. There are also some nice campgrounds outside the park, but close enough that it is all the same, at $17; also there are non-designated campsites throughout the forest for free.

Zion's Watchman campground is $16 to $20; Lava Point is free, but there are only 6 primitive campsites; there are four more private campgrounds which are conveniently close.|||National Park Camping

There are lots of opportunities for camping at national parks throughout the United States and Canada and several different types of camping to choose from, depending on your interests and level of experience. This ranges from camping at full-facility campgrounds, to backcountry camping with limited facilities, to wilderness camping where you might find no facilities at all.|||= The park entrance fee applies to all visitors. If you arrive in your private car, minivan, pickup truck, or RV, the entrance fee is $20 per car. This is valid for unlimited entries to Yosemite for seven days, and includes all occupants of the car.

Otherwise, entrance fees are as follows:

$10 per person if arriving on foot, horseback, bicycle, motorcycle, or on a non-commercial bus or passenger van (free for those 15 years old and younger).|||Each park has their own fees. Use site below to locate the park you want. ( click on the state, then the name of the park.) Then click on Plan your Trip, then on next page click on fees and reservations and scroll down to camping and click there. Going step by step, you will get the camping fees for that specific park.
