I have not been camping in a few years. I want to go to zion national park in october where the average low temperature is 49..i think she will be fine, i just want other inputs/experiences..thanks|||Yes of course, dress warmly, eat well and have plenty of insulation for sleeping time. enjoy!
http://www.rei.com/expertadvice/articles鈥?/a>|||I took my daughter camping when she was 8 months old and again last week and she's now 20 months. She was fine both times. 49 degrees isn't that cold. Heck, we even had her in the lake both times. There was also a massive storm while we were there and a little cuddle on our air mattress that night was all she needed to go right back to sleep. Also, we only had a tent, no camper (not sure what you have).
Just make sure you have lots of changes of clothes (mine went through an outfit a day with her diaper blowouts and there was nowhere to do laundry), food, snacks and drinks that she likes (or can get some there) (I brought Pediasure since it doesn't need refrigeration and it's nutritious and filling) and some warm blankets. Put her in a sleeper at night for sure. Don't forget lots of diapers and wipes! lol
I'm making it sound complicated but really it's probably all stuff you would do anyway when you go out for a length of time.
My daughter had a great time. I did bring some simple toys too for the times when we were stuck in the tent during the rainstorm.
It was|||Nice place.
Just be sure she has a safe place to sleep and play where there is no chance of her wondering way. Plenty of blankets and warm jammies and you'll be fine.|||yes u can bring her
