You need to go to the rangers station the day before and register if you hike it. It's overnight, and they only allow a select number of people through each day.|||Try this...|||Hoover Dam is something nice to see. It's about a half day trip only if you're driving. Mount Charleston is also a half day trip or less. If you like shopping, you can drive to Barstow, which is a day trip including shopping time.
