Wow are these parks different. Rocky Mountain visitingparks.com/RockyMountain.htm is a park known for it vistas and wildlife. It has a road that cant be missed (trail route) that goes to 12000 ft. Zion visitingparks.com/Zion.htm has a dryer climate and is know for its slot canyons and stone monoliths. Both are absolutely spectacular but in different ways as you can see in the videos on the VisitingParks.com website. Rocky Mountain is often covered with snow this time of the year where Zion is normally open. Why choose between them. I recommend that you experience both and in fact Visiting Parks suggests 80 parks to visit. We all visit them often.
